The highly anticipated Wimbledon Tournament, beloved by tennis fans worldwide, commenced on Monday, 3 July, and will continue until Sunday, 16 July. Renowned as the oldest and grandest tennis championship in the world, it holds an esteemed status as the pinnacle of the sport. Consequently, numerous prestigious brands align themselves with this iconic event.

Rolex stands as one of the long-standing supporters of Wimbledon, having assumed the role of official timekeeper in 1978. This partnership marked the genesis of a flourishing association. In 2009, Rolex celebrated their fruitful bond by introducing the Wimbledon dial, characterized by a slate grey face adorned with Roman markers accentuated by a classic green hue. This design is often seen as an homage to the lush green courts of Wimbledon.

However, one notable absence from the action this year is the legendary Roger Federer, who bid farewell to professional tennis last year. Nonetheless, there is a possibility of catching a glimpse of him from the sidelines, observing the captivating matches.

As avid watch enthusiasts and tennis aficionados are aware, many of Wimbledon's biggest stars serve as "brand ambassadors" for various watchmakers. The watches that will grace the tournament remain a mystery for now, but we will keep this post regularly updated. Last year, during the Wimbledon 2022, we spotted many great watches. The legendary Roger Federer has returned to Wimbledon. On the first day of Wimbledon 2023, he attended the event alongside his wife, Mirka Federer.

The couple made a stylish statement by wearing Rolex watches. Roger sported the white gold Rolex Sky-Dweller 336934, featuring a blue dial. Mirka, on the other hand, adorned herself with the elegant Rolex Day-Date 228396TEM in platinum, boasting an emerald bezel and two baguette-cut emeralds as hour markers at 6 and 9 o'clock.

Sebastian Korda of the United States delivered a forehand against Jiri Vesely of the Czech Republic in the Men's Singles first round match during day three of The Championships, Wimbledon 2023, at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Wednesday, 5 July.

Tommy Paul of United States stretched to play a forehand against Jiri Lehecka of Czech Republic in the Men's Singles third round match during day six of The Championships Wimbledon 2023 at All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on 8 July 2023.

On the occasion, he was seen wearing a piece-unique De Bethune DB28 LTC in titanium made with the colors of Wimbledon, one of the most prestigious Tennis tournament. The 39mm case has a rippling green guilloche dial circled by a purple inner ring decorated with miniature tennis courts in white and has a gold-toned titanium 3D tennis ball circling at 12 o’clock.

During the match against Novak Djokovic on day seven, 9 July 2023, Hubert Hurkacz of Poland was seen wearing the Maestro GC Sport Grass.

He is an ambassador of Bianchet, so the watch that we see on his wrist is not a Richard Mille like I thought. It is a Bianchet Tourbillon B1.618 Openwork Carbon.

The case's carbon, called Titanium-Dust-Carbon, is a very strong mixed material. It's made from carbon fibers filled with titanium powder. This gives it a brighter, more special look, with surprising shine and unique patterns.

Goran Ivanisevic, the coach of Serbia's Novak Djokovic, watches the men's singles tennis match between Djokovic and Poland's Hubert Hurkacz on the eighth day of the 2023 Wimbledon Championships on 10 July. On his wrist, we can see the watch that he also wore during Wimbledon 2022.It is the 42mm Hublot Big Bang Unico Titanium Blue Ceramic.

Attending the 8th day of Wimbledon, F1 driver Charles LeClerc was seen wearing his Richard Mille RM72-01 Flyback Chronograph.

This timepiece doesn't have the traditional 3-6-9 o’clock register layout of the RM 11 series chronographs; the RM 72-01 instead places its subdials at 1 o’clock, 5 o’clock, and a small seconds at 9 o’clock.

Former US alpine skier Lindsey Vonn attended the first day of competition at Wimbledon 2023 with Roger Federer wearing the discontinued 18k yellow gold Rolex Daytona Cosmograph ref 116508 with distinctive Green dial. 

The emerald-colored sunburst dial features gold hour markers and red small details. It is still one of the most wanted pieces on market.

During the press conference of Wimbledon 2023, Russian Daniil Medvedev was seen wearing his Bovet Fleurier Virtuoso VIII Chapter Two Tourbillon 44 mm watch.

It had a tough black case made of titanium. The watch has bright yellow subdials and had a fancy black design. The strap was black leather, made to look like alligator skin. This watch wasn't just for telling time, it was also a stylish accessory.

At a press conference, polish Iga Swiatek was seen wearing her rose gold Rolex Lady Datejust 279175. The 28mm features a white dial with Roman numerals hour markers, and a fluted bezel. Last year, at US Open Tennis 2022, she was also seen wearing this watch. I guess, this must be her favorite watch, I mean it fits her.

Attending the Wimbledon 2023, British rapper was seen wearing a limited Richard Mille RM 011 Flyback Chronograph ‘Last Edition’ in blue ceramic. 

This 50-piece limited timepiece is the last RM 011 produced, one of the historical models of the brand. The blue case offers a contrast with the white and orange details, paired with a baby blue bracelet

Attending the day twelve of Wimbledon 223, Hollywood actor who is famour for his role as Dr. Strange, Benedict Cumberbatch, was seen wearing a 42mm Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Marine Memocox Q903818J.

A signature Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece, this watch displays its prestigious lineage with the Memovox sports models, whose alarm served as an audible signal to remind divers that it was time to return to the surface.

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt attended the men's singles final tennis match between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic on the last day of the 2023 Wimbledon Championships.

During the event, he was wearing a rare and fine stainless steel Vacheron Constantin Jumbo 44018 with blue dial better known as the 222.

The 222 was launched in 1977 for the brand’s 222th anniversary and it stands apart from the Royal Oak and the Nautilus as it was not designed by Gerald Genta but by the young Jorg Hysek who gave the watch a slightly more cutting edge flair. Hysek was only 24 years old when the 222 launched – incidentally, Jean-Marc Vacheron was 24 years old when he first officially founded Vacheron Constantin on September 17th 1755.

Daniel Craig, the former 007, attended the final Wimbledon 2023 and as you perhaps expected, he was seen wearing an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean GMT Blue Dial.
